Golden Globe Winners

The Golden Globe Awards, which take place every January, honored actors and actresses for the 69th year this year.

The Descendants won for the Best Drama Motion Picture, and George Clooney won Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama - for his role in the film. Meryl Streep won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama - for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in Iron Lady. Martin Scorsese won the Best Director award for Hugo. Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris won for Best Screenplay. The award for the Best Animated Feature Film went to Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures' The Adventures Of Tintin.
