The Golden Globe Awards,
which take place every January, honored actors and actresses for the 72nd year this year.
Boyhood won for the Best Drama Motion Picture, and Richard Linklater won Best Director for the film.
Julianne Moore won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama - for her portrayal of a woman afflicted with Alzheimer's disease at just 50 years old in Wash Westmoreland's Still Alice, and Eddie Redmayne won Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama - for his role as ALS-stricken physicist extraordinaire Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. Birdman won for Best Screenplay. The award for the Best Animated Feature Film went to DreamWorks' How To Train Your Dragon 2.
