
The Cannes Film Festival honors films from around the world at its annual event in the spring. The famed Golden Palm (or Palm D'Or) is the coveted prize at this featival. Directors, producers, movie stars and journalists convene to take in the world's top cinematic productions, as they have since the event started in 1946. Among the previous winners are L'Enfant, Pulp Fiction and Farehheit 9/11. For the 60th anniversary, Cannes celebrates with the film "To Each His Own Cinema" created by 33 directors from 25 different countries.

The Los Angeles Times's Daily Cannes report gives the big news of the each day of the festival. Reuters gives the behind-the-scenes news and articles on some of the more harrowing films of the festival. The BBC's blog-like approach with reporter Stephen Robb's log gives some personality to the coverage and a taste of what it's really like.
Film.com has celebrity pictures from the red carpet and various parties. Meanwhile, Rotten Tomatoes lists all the winners since 2000 and links to its reviews.
Watch and Listen
Film industry magazine Variety has posted videos in its Shootout section of interviews with directors and producers. The official Cannes Web site also has a podcast of various speeches and interviews from the festival.
