Who does Oprah Winfrey play in Beloved?
Oprah played Sethe, a former slave haunted by the heritage of slavery, in the 1998 movie. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Toni Morrison. Oprah's co-stars are Danny Glover and Thandie Newton.
