40 Best Directors

Critics at The Guardian newspaper chose the top 40 filmmakers leading the way in the art of cinema. In first place was David Lynch, director of Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, and Mulholland Drive. Martin Scorsese, the Coen brothers, and Pedro Almodovar were also included.
