Directors Guild of America Lifetime Achievement Awards

The DGA has been presenting accomplished directors with the Lifetime Achievement Award since 1953, when it recognized film pioneer Cecil B. DeMille. The most recent recipient was Clint Eastwood, but the list also includes international directors like Akira Kurosawa and Ingmar Bergman.
