2006 Oscar Winners

The 78th Annual Academy Awards were held in March with Jon Stewart as the ever-humorous host. Reese Witherspoon won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Walk the Line. Philip Seymour Hoffman took home the Best Actor award, while Crash won Best Picture. Ang lee was named Best Director for his efforts on the controversial Brokeback Mountain.
