2007 Oscar Winners

The 79th Annual Academy Awards were held in late February with Ellen DeGeneres as the host. Helen Mirren won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in The Queen, while Forest Whitaker took home the Best Actor award. The Departed won Best Picture and Best Director, giving Martin Scorsese his first Oscar.
