In 2005, Time magazine movie critics Richard Schickel and Richard Corliss worked together to compile a list of the 100 best movies of all time. The list attracted 7.8 million page views in the first week of being published — a fact that supports Corliss' attitude that everyone is actually a movie critic. The featured films were all produced after 1923 (Time's first publication), meaning that the project spanned 82 years of filmmaking.
